Karina Victoria Ka Albariño 2014

IMG_1883

The Albariño grape is native to the Rias Baixas area in Galicia, Spain where this wine originates and it’s easy to see why there’s no place like home. This wine showcases all the quintessential features of this great varietal – herbal notes and crisp acidity balanced with a buttery minerality. Aromas of apricot and hints of citrus fill the bouquet and follow through on the palate dotted with grassy overtones. This wine will pair very well with sushi, raw bar options and shellfish or will stand up to lighter entrees with rich, butter based sauces.
